This waffle maker replaces the large square waffle maker I have had for many years. This makes the waffles the perfect size for one person, but will heat up quickly if served to more than one person. It can be stored horizontally or vertically to save space. The waffles don't stick, but I didn't use them without nonstick spray. It would be easier to clean if the panels were removable as you don't want to get the electrical connections wet. Overall I am happy with this waffle maker. I love the fact that I can control the browning of the waffle. If I add squash to the batter I lift it up, but if I just want a soft waffle I can put it back in.
