This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I always thought there should be a capsule/carafe combo coffee maker that brews both and not only does this do both great but it has some very handy and thoughtful features. You have the choice between "classic", "rich" and "special". classic mode. I REALLY love strong coffee and have surprisingly found that classic mode works for me. Of course, you can adjust the amount of coffee grounds as you like, and there is a very handy measuring chart in the instruction manual to help you get the perfect amount of coffee for your taste. The steps to brew coffee are as simple as it gets and you can brew from 1/4 pot to full by following the instructions on the LED display. They have included a coffee spoon and it fits into a recess on the 2) There is enough water in the tank to brew a full pot or multiple single cup pods, depending on which cup size you choose Select so that it is to the right of the Coffee maker is located, or you can position it at the back by flipping the switch, depending on how much space you have. Your counter. I put mine to the side, and the coffee maker has been moved to the corner of the counter, taking up less space than you might think. The device is smart enough not to let you start a brewing session if there isn't enough water in the fountain. 3) The coffee pot has a large spout with a wide mouth. The glass jug of my previous coffee machine had a small, notched spout, from which coffee always came out when pouring. This one is perfect. (Yes, I'm picky) The carafe is dishwasher safe. 4) A propellant is also attached to the side of the device. Simply open, froth milk and you're done. The whisk is easily removed from the frother, you can simply rinse it off and put it back on, ready for the next use. A separate propellant is not required. (Note that the frother doesn't heat the milk, just do it in the microwave first.) 5) Now let's move on to the pods. You simply insert the capsule block (it's included with the brew basket), insert the pod and choose the size of cup you're using and you'll be making coffee and a great tasting coffee very quickly. You can choose regular coffee in a variety of cup sizes, or "specialty coffee" which gives you a very strong 4 ounces to use when making a specialty drink. You can also choose the "Ice" version which makes a great strong coffee when making frapps or iced coffee. You really have thought of everything. It couldn't be easier. I don't see how they could have done it differently. You can also use the "Permanent Mesh" filter if you prefer to use your own single-cup coffee instead of a pod, but it's sold separately. Only K-cup sized capsules are needed. 6) There is an option "hot water only". By turning the knob on the side of the machine, you can dispense hot water bypassing the coffee brewing path and instantly get clean hot water for soup, cocoa or even oatmeal by placing the bowl on the drip. - Lower the cup holder and fill it with hot water. Your choice of amount and temperature depending on what you're doing. I've never seen this on any other coffee maker and it makes a quick cup of tea a much quicker and easier task than waiting for water to boil in a kettle. 7) Did I miss something? You can schedule when you want the coffee to be brewed so it's ready in the morning if you want. b) The machine will beep when the brewing process is complete, it will beep and tell you when there is not enough water in it. good to do what you chose. This machine does not have an automatic pause mechanism to stop the flow of coffee if you pull out the pot and want to pour yourself a cup before the brewing process is complete. There is a small lever that you push to close the coffee flow path so you can get your coffee without making a mess. Luckily, if you forget to open this door the next time you make coffee, it will beep and remind you to open it or cancel the brewing instructions after 30 seconds. So if you leave it closed overnight and schedule coffee in the morning, you don't have to worry about it brewing coffee and making a big mess. The standard coffee plate automatically keeps your coffee hot for two hours. , but you can increase this time to four hours in the settings. That being said, I highly recommend the Ninja DualBrew if you're picky about your coffee and want tons of brewing options. None of this would matter if this machine didn't make good coffee, but as a really picky coffee drinker I have to say it makes a great cup or pot of coffee. Great job ninja!
