This combi shower head is very heavy and well built. We bought 1.8 GPM and the solid head pressure is amazing. The PDA is still good, but for some reason not as powerful as a fixed head. I think/hope it's because they use a trickle valve to shut off. A constant small jet of water flows from the fixed head even when it is switched off, which in my opinion leads to a slight drop in pressure in the handpiece. The portable doesn't leak as much when it's off, and the fixed head is closer to the source, so I think it's more powerful. It's just impossible to use both heads at the same time in my house. It reduces the pressure from both heads so much that it becomes almost unusable. Our water pressure is moderate. My blood pressure used to be worse, but sometimes it's better. If your home has a lot of pressure, this could be great for you. I am returning this device and have already ordered the portable version. I hope this is the ticket for me. I've read a lot of reviews about hoses breaking so I guess time will tell. If I hadn't gotten addicted to a hand shower - cleaning the "base" ;) - I would buy a standing shower and be sure it would satisfy me and last 20 years A. Another small downside to this model is the dripping water every head turned off is cold and hard to avoid, somewhat detracting from an otherwise excellent shower experience. My advice is to stick with one shower head. I hope to leave 5 stars only for wearable devices.
