First impressions are good; the machine and the drinks are both to my liking. That is, unless doing so would result in a lower cost. In most cases, I advise going with a DeLonghi. There are benefits to it: There is no room for improvement. Even though I'm no barista, I can tell you that this machine produces superior coffee compared to my old semi-automatic. The milk container and the brew group are both dishwasher-safe and self-rinsing. Easy-to-read screen, separate temperature and brew-strength controls for each user's drinks. It's really handy that... Negatives: The cup holder is scratched, as many reviewers mentioned. Nevertheless, not all cups fit snuggly beneath the cappuccinatore and the coffee pouring spout, as the machine is on the narrow side. It's not a huge deal, just something I wanted to point up.
