Review on Supersonic SC 1105 AM FM Radio by Lisa Thomas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It has sufficient selectivity to pick up weak remote stations, yes it is a DSP radio.

My first set came from outside of Revain, it also came with an AM antenna ripped from its fragile mounts. Fumes that can cloud the display window (which is why I only use superglue in extremely limited cases). After about an hour, the stickiness was enough to put the SC-1105 back together with no problems, with the antenna falling off or becoming detached. .Yes, it is sensitive to static on AM, but that can't help other than keep it away from most internal sources of interference. the device is operational. There's no interference on FM, but the scale is shifted slightly on both bands, so plan to go lower or higher where you normally tune in, usually when you find a familiar sound nearby. past, your favorite station is nearby. It also has a functional tuning LED that shines through a hole next to the word "TUNE" below the dial area. I'm glad the Supersonic folks chose DSP because I've had previous models that weren't DSP and I can't remember if they were any good, I think they might have been below average otherwise I'd be better remembering their past performance (I know, confirmation bias). The noise level is reasonable, even louder than the ZesGood models I've tested before, so I'd like to compare this model to my other favorite, the Jameson model with 2 AA DSP radio, when I get a chance.
