I have a fairly powerful gaming rig, but I'm having an issue with my Oculus CV1 freezing. When playing games like Beat Saber it would look correct due to spatial distortion, but the input would freeze and there could be a noticeable visual lag. My guess is that the HDMI cable is "disconnected" which froze everything (including the inputs) for a split second. In any case, fast games like beatsabers were all but impossible. I don't know if it was a bandwidth issue or what. It seems to be working great now that I have it. This may be because this adapter takes a second or two longer to recognize that the HDMI cable is not connected. Anyway, now I can play VR without any problems :D
