. Hooking it up was easy when I went on youtube and watched a video on how to do it because there are absolutely no instructions or guides to tell you how to hook up this system in the package. Second, the receiving unit gets very hot after 8+ hours of use, in fact my unit got so hot I had to turn it off for fear it might explode or damage the unit. You can't leave it idle and just use the remote control whenever you want to turn it on. You must physically flip the switch on the back of the receiver to the off position after you have stopped using it, otherwise you will damage your surround system and burn it out due to overheating. Third. The speaker cords are too short and I had to buy Revain 25 inch RCA extension cords for a 4 pack which cost me an additional $52. So $92 for the unit and $52 for additional wiring cost me $144 for a system that may just die due to this unit's overheating issue. The sound is fine and works for my purposes, mainly watching movies on my TV, so I can only give this product 3 stars overall.
