I must say that I am very satisfied with this product. I used to have carrier bags for my 11 pound chihuahua and they were uncomfortable for both the dog and me. This carrier is perfect. My dog fits in easily, plenty of room for it (he basically leans his head out of the hole), I find it very comfortable to wear - the padding is thick and it rides sideways or more up my thigh in front, depending as i am i position it. Most importantly, my dog loves and relaxes when I walk around the neighborhood. The stitching looks strong and reinforced and the only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because I've had other straps that ripped in a short amount of time (where they are sewn to the straps) so I'd like to see how they stop with my 11 lb dog before i give her a 5. I bought them to walk another dog on a leash and I haven't tried it yet. The only thing that bothers me is crouching down to pick up the banded dog poop. My chihuahua is heavier, that could be a problem. This is a really great product and I'm really excited about it. I highly recommend it.
