They are tight; perfect for saving space in your Gloomhaven installation. The finished panel is about three drawing mats thick. You have to build it yourself! But it was easy to understand and easy to fix with enough determination. I'm not worried about strength or durability; I'm not throwing them across the room or anything. While the characters fit into Jaws of the Lion, they aren't as oriented as Mats of Gloom, so those who find this disturbing should keep that in mind. For me it doesn't spoil the impression. I think Frosthaven will have different sizes of mats, or at least they will be oriented differently. Hopefully someone makes one for this set; you are so cute
