I bought an elastic figure of eight ankle support for my wife to support her left leg when she is in pain due to a fatigue fracture. This ankle brace gave her the best support for over 2 weeks while awaiting orthotics from her orthopedist. She loves it because the number 8 wraps her entire ankle, supporting her foot and keeping it in the right position while she sleeps. With other types that do not cover the bottom of the heel, she wakes up in the morning with leg pain. The packaging is well made and wraps everything evenly. My wife has very small feet and wears size 5 1/2 shoes. I ordered a small bandage first but it was too tight and cut off her toes. Then I ordered the product and it fits her perfectly without squeezing her leg. The product is well designed and made but difficult to order the correct size.
