Beard is new to me and I used nothing but this material on my first beard. So I have no other comparison. However, I'm skeptical. First of all I want to know all the ingredients before ordering this product. I know that nut butter isn't supposed to be allergic, but when we have several people in the house with nut allergies, I find it a little inappropriate to put almond oil on my beard. Here are all the ingredients: - Apricot Kernel Oil - Avocado Oil - Sweet Almond Oil - Golden Jojoba Oil - Vitamin E Oil - Aroma - Benzyl Alcohol - Ethylhexylglycerin The aroma is subtle but masculine. I could use a little more punch in the flavor but that's just me. My sense of smell is not as good as some. My biggest question here is why are you paying such a price for the tiny amount of blended oils you rub into your beard. If I noticed a big difference in my beard I would see some value but honestly I can't tell any difference. I don't believe it, but it's a good product. So 3 stars seems appropriate for this product.
