It smells nice but strong, almost like cologne.

The smell is a bit strong for a beard oil in my opinion. I was hoping for a slight hint of cedar. It's not a bad smell at all and I like it, but I try not to put perfume on my beard. I'm just worried that when I put on the clothes to go out with my wife, it won't go well with the perfume I'm wearing. As I said, I just need a beard oil with a hint of cedar wood. This Bold Men brand beard oil does not have a strong odor.

SUMMARY: This is a lightly scented beard oil. But with the Brave Men brand, I was expecting a stronger and more lasting scent. It's not a bad beard oil, just not quite what I expected. I'm not sure if it does much good.

Beard is new to me and I used nothing but this material on my first beard. So I have no other comparison. However, I'm skeptical. First of all I want to know all the ingredients before ordering this product. I know that nut butter isn't supposed to be allergic, but when we have several people in the house with nut allergies, I find it a little inappropriate to put almond oil on my beard. I have the Mad Man formula and I love this scent. It reminds me of Calvin Klein's Eternity Now For Men or maybe DKNY Men. They don't list all the ingredients (just the flavor) which can be anything, but it's definitely less vanilla and a bit bolder and spicier than Eternity. Like Eternity, it also has hints of ivory soap (e.g. soft ginger root). This is a great blend of woody, spicy, and sweet notes. When you apply it, it replaces your cologne.
