Review on Sirui T 005S Ultralight Aluminum B 00 by Yusri Mohd ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend it.

I was looking for a light, tightly whipped amateur tripod for camping conditions, the main thing is that there is a removable ball head, collet legs and a weight of up to 1 kg, and, well, a budget of up to 5-6k. As a result, only two models fit: Fujimi FT77M and this Sirui. According to the characteristics, they are very similar, but Sirui comes with a small carabiner for weighting, it is just convenient to quickly hook the tripod to the backpack, in the end I bought it. Sirui is very high quality, the legs are tight, the latches are reliable, the head is easily and conveniently installed in the desired position, the same carabiner, and not just a hook, a bold plus in the piggy bank - everything is super, but! the weight of 900 grams, which is indicated on all sites, turned out to be the weight without a head. I already understood this at home . the head itself weighs about 210 grams, which ultimately makes the whole structure not so easy. With heavy hikes, I would like to avoid these 200 grams. Also included is a hard carrying case and hex keys. P. S. There are, of course, smaller models on the market when folded and lighter, but the question of reliability in hiking conditions is for you to think about: benro ismart is05, cullmann neomax 240 or 260.

Pros
  • Overall build quality, comfortable leg locking system, removable ball head
Cons
  • Wrong stated weight
