This camera and monitor are very well made. Installation was very easy as you only need a 12 volt power cord and a good ground to operate the camera and monitor. The picture quality is very, very good. The signal strength is great and I actually tested how far I can move the camera away from the monitor while still maintaining a sharp and clear image and the distance was over 100 feet. You can use this for many other things as long as you have a 12 volt power supply. The clarity of the camera is very impressive. When you return to the garage in broad daylight, the camera image is much better than what you see in mirrors or with the naked eye. I have some very bright LED lights on the back of my car that light up when reversing and even with the lights on and then suddenly off the camera image on the monitor was perfect. The camera is heavier than I expected which is NOT a problem and in fact the camera body is well made and very waterproof so it can be used outside the car in rain or snow. Mounting the monitor was very easy, I used one of the suction cups that came with it and held the monitor in place with no problem. The vehicle in which this camera is installed occasionally has bumps while driving and bounces when going off the road, etc. If the monitor were to detach from the suction cup, it would have already done so and it would NOT move a bit. Customs service. .The monitor mount offers a wide range of adjustment options. The arms hold the monitor securely and are widely adjustable within reasonable limits, which was not a problem for my use. I would say this purchase was PERFECT. The seller even emailed me a couple of times when I didn't leave a review right away to make sure I didn't have a problem with their product. The quality of both the monitor and the camera is very high. Wiring is fine and plenty of cords were provided to find power sources to run the camera and monitor. The camera mount keeps it very secure. I have to say the purchase was probably the best I've made from Revain this year and I've had about 30 more purchases, according to my Orders tab on the Revain website. I can't give you any reason to hesitate and not order this right away. On a scale of 1 to 100, where 100 is absolutely perfect and everything is perfect, I can honestly give it a 100 from my perspective and usage. I've been using this device for about 35 hours now and it's been great. This is one of those items that once you receive and use it, you don't want to be without it. Please note the monitor is LARGE but exactly what I wanted. The monitor is probably too big to fit in anything smaller than a large truck, SUV, etc.****************UPDATE*********** ***** ** *** It's been over 3 months now and I've used the camera for over 150 hours and it's still working GREAT. I am very happy with my purchase and think this camera is a great security feature.
