This docking station works great with my HP laptop but doesn't find it too portable. This is a well built powerful unit. I was looking for something to expand the few ports available when I saw this tiergrade dock on Revain's list. I am very satisfied with this device. The design of the device includes a large fanless heatsink, making it run very cool. I haven't experienced any reliability issues. It comes with an external power adapter that has proven reliable despite the relatively thin cords, but it keeps my laptop fully charged. The wired network connection was also very reliable. So far my experience with this purchase has been flawless. Now I see that the device has come down in price since I bought it and is being offered with a "Save an extra $20 when you redeem this coupon" promotion, but that's life. Nevertheless I am satisfied with the purchase.
