Review on ๐ŸŽพ YONEX Super GRAP Racket Grip 30-Pack by David Sanchez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My favorite rubber/glue grip

In wet weather when I sweat a little I prefer the blue Tourna grip or the buffed leather grip. However, when it's dry and/or cold outside, they get a little slippery, so I opt for something rubbery. I have tried similar rubbers from Prince, Wilson, Babolat and Tourna but these Yonex Super Grap rubbers are my favourites. They are rubbery with good grip but not sticky. The grip paint does not bleed over the player's hand like some others do. They are fairly durable and will become textile over time as the outer rubber layer wears away. This is a fairly thin, non-dampening pad (which I like). A small note on this pack: the finishing tape is not included as a roll but as 30 pre-cut pieces tied together with an elastic band. The decorative ribbon is a little stiff, not as stretchy, and a little easier to break than others I've come across. So the finishing tape isn't the best, but it's definitely usable. The grip tape itself is also pre-cut with an angle cut and tape on one end. The glue leaves traces, but these can be washed off. I haven't had any issues with the rest of the tape leaving any marks or being difficult to separate from the handle.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
