I received them on January 14, 2020. The first thing I did was remove each cap and each cap fits snugly. After removing the lids, I immediately washed and rinsed them in warm, soapy water. I placed them on a drying mat and then dried them with a regular kitchen towel. I let them dry for about an hour after drying, and there was absolutely no rush. I filled these jars to the line just below the cutouts, put the lids on (making sure the cutouts weren't lined up or I'd have spices all over the kitchen), then placed them on the fridge. Magnets easily hold filled glasses. No slip. Conclusion: These magnetic jars are AMAZING and I would buy them again if I were a mega chef using more spices.
