I don't like this charging station but it does the job. It charges flawlessly and I didn't notice any difference in battery life compared to my previous charging station. My problem is that it's very difficult to see if the remotes are charging or not. You place the remote controls on the charging base and then you have to press down to connect the power to the charger. [It's a little hard to explain, but to charge the remotes you have to push the whole thing down so it snaps into place and connects the battery to the charger. bit] It has a green/red light that tells you if it's charged or not, but where we have our remotes it's almost impossible to see the light. I found a workaround by putting a cheap mirror in the trash where the remotes were. and chargers live on, but it's definitely an inconvenience and enough that I can't give it the full five stars. Getting the remotes to get up properly is also not as easy as one would like. It takes two or three tries and a little more jiggle than I'd like. It's definitely better than changing batteries every few days, but it's definitely not the perfect charging station.
