Failed me for VR

Comfortable shoulder straps. Pretty tricky setup - the heat from the 3D printed ball melted the nylon filament so that about 3mm on each side fused and just stuck out. I had to bend 90 degrees to fit the Quest controller slot. And then, four days later, the nylon cord holding the strap to the controller just fell off. Apparently he was just knotted and untied.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons

Good straps are poorly constructed

The straps themselves aren't bad, but the 3D printed inlay is terrible, it fits very loosely in the controller, and the lace piece glued to it is in an awkward position, the only way , to keep it is to insert it into the controller so that it gets stuck in the execution

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • infinitely sluggish

Should have been a stock harness

Better than stock in almost every way, except for one small issue that might not bother you. The strand between the main part of the cable and the controller itself (the thin string part) is too long. So when you're playing a fast-paced game like Beat Saber, you'll hear constant clicks from the piece of plastic hitting the controller. It's also fantastic and I would equate it to a Wii controller strap.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Belts that should be included in the Rift S/Quest!

These straps are a big improvement on my Rift S. Very easy to install. The fabric quality is much closer to what you would expect from Oculus. They don't tear and offer a solution compared to using the thin leather they released with the Rift S/Quest. The clips are a good size and ensure they don't ride up and down on your wrists. DeadEye says they guarantee those things too. So if you have a problem, they offer to replace or fix it!

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • No power

the belt broke within a few hours, the controller collapsed

Doesn't get along with its main task, doesn't get along with the others. Manufacturing tolerances are questionable; Attaching one of the straps was much more difficult than the other; Lots of leftover 3D prints on the part that is supposed to attach the strap to the controller. Thick; heavy straps were very annoying in games with a lot of fast movements; like bit saber. With the largest hand movements, the plastic end of the strap hit my hand. The belt failed after the 3rd cumulative hour of…

Feel much more comfortable and secure than standard straps

First off - IF YOU WANT TO USE THESE WITH MAMUT TOUCH GRIPS IT WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT SOME GRIP CHANGES. It takes some time to dig up some plastic on the underside of the grips to get the block section of the strap through. It's doable, but requires some fiddling and effort. The straps themselves feel a lot more solid and fit your wrists snugly, but not so much that they distract from the climb. This, along with the locking mechanisms when you tighten them, adds a good sense of security that the

An inexpensive modification of the belts can be made yourself.

For $15 you basically get two fake black Wii remote straps. It'll only cost you a few bucks on eBay and even Revain, so you're paying double or triple the price of straps for an out-of-the-box feature: two cheap 3D-printed plastic inserts that wrap around part of the strap. Cables to hold the straps firmly in the Rift S' touch controllers. I have two problems with this. The first problem is that now that I know how these straps work I will definitely buy two cheap fake straps that are the same…

Quality tapes, good price. I love her!

I ordered this product to replace my Rift S Touch Controller OEM strap. I didn't like how the OEM straps would twist, bunch, and loosen during a hard gaming session like the Beat Saber. I wanted something that would stay tight and not clump even if it might curl up on freezing controllers. Those are the straps. They have a thick fabric strap that doesn't make my wrists sweaty, connected with two small "threads" that allow the straps to swivel but not twist. The fabric part is tightened with a…
