Great watch! I've been wearing this type of watch for 11 years now because it's the only watch strap where the metal doesn't irritate my skin. I wear it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (except for bathing or swimming) and have never had a problem with my face or the strap tearing. Never had a problem with water damage even after washing dishes, bathing the kids or jumping in the pool (forgot to remove it!). Since I wear this to work (warehouse work) I have to change the band about every 6 months because it's starting to look dirty, not because it's worn out.
