Review on Fisher Price Vintage Record Player with Enhanced SEO by Robert Larris

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I was SO disappointed when I finally got the player out of the .

I was SO disappointed when I finally unpacked the player! I still have the ones my kids used when they were little. (They are 42 and 38 years old). All my grandkids enjoyed playing with him whenever they came. I thought it would be fun to get one for my grandson for his first birthday but what a disappointment. The on/off switch that the child moved to the right or left to turn it on or off is WRONG. My grandson was so upset when he couldn't move it. Have you noticed how intuitive kids are with buttons - they love to press them, but this one does nothing! The audio is terrible. It's light, doesn't feel that strong. There are no grooves on the records (they are digital but not that fun). The recording lever is difficult to operate. The changing grip is impossible for a child. I'm sure it won't last 4 years let alone 40. Again, maybe because I doubt he'll enjoy playing with it. Too bad I destroyed the box trying to remove it. Otherwise I would have sent it back. Here's a tip - if you're feeling nostalgic, try not to compromise on quality!
