There are two things that prevent this solution from being great. 1) It doesn't fit perfectly. I have to be very careful when putting it in the coupe because unlike original Ford engineering it doesn't go to the very ends of the tracks and can shoot over one end or the other and fall into the coupe. It's fine until you collect all the change you just put in the coin slots a second or third time. 2) You have to grab it by holding it by one of the edges of the tray. It would be great if there was a handle or a hole to stick a couple of fingers in to pick it up. But when there are heavy objects inside, pinching the edge of the tray is not a very smart solution.
