Firstly I have a size double which says it comes with 2 pillowcases. FYI, it only comes with one. Secondly, these are cheap panels, so they are thin and will not withstand heavy use. But they don't pretend to be tough, they pretend to be soft, which they are. Third, if you read the care instructions on the labels, it says wash gently in cold water and go to the washmat to use larger machines if you have a top-loading "beater" washing machine. So this tells you right away why so many people complain about their sheets falling apart and being torn - who washes their sheets like they wash their beautiful delicate clothes?!
