Review on Logitech G G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, Black by Micha Kowalski Czajo ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A completely ordinary product, nothing remarkable.

Everything would be great, BUT: Reading reviews on bourgeois forums - everyone complained about the too soft 3 G-SHIFT key. I just needed this one. Traveled 3 (!) Stores Shop 1: VERY tight, looks like a marriage (honestly - barely pressed) + on the additional block of keys, a couple is pressed with VERY strong indentation (the rest are easy) - as you understand in PVP, I am not interested in pressing skills with effort. Store 2: G shift is easier to press, but still with a serious effort + two (!) Additional keys on g1-g12 barely work (one even sinks). It's funny. It's funny at those who say that Logitech is quality. Overexposed in the hands of 3 mice - one worse than the other. Store 3: I found a battered mouse (g600) in the corner on the stand - oddly enough, Gshift is pressed just as easily as the main keys. ALL keys (g1-g12) work more or less. The price is 3200+ and this is an old revision with a non-atable firmware and a buggy cursor. ?! Bye bye! - Theoretically, we can conclude: Buttons MAYBE developed over time and will be pressed softer + sticking will disappear? But you know what I'll tell you: this is not a mouse for 200-500 where you can ask yourself: "What did you actually want from China at a price of $ 10-20?" But then the price tends to 3000+ and the presence of such shortcomings is not something that does not suit - it scares away. PS I tested the Razer naga 2022 with a friend - I really liked the mechanical buttons on the side. Naturally, there is no sticking - excellent. Right and left click is good too. However, there is a rumor on Rasers about the appearance of double clicks a few months after active use (I confirm that my first naga molten lost its load and a double click appeared after 1.5 years of continuous playing in Lineage2, LoL, etc. It cost then 2700r (year so 2022) Certainly not worth it BUT: Now I will find myself a naga 2022 for 2400 ~ at an online flea market and I will be happy (off price of 4000 ~ this is fun). I do not recommend contacting the G600 - I still didn’t get a normal one . Will you risk it?

Pros
  • The presence of predominantly matte materials in the design, rather than gloss. A large number of buttons - an interesting solution to make them beveled (block 1 - 12). High-quality (durable?) switches in the SECOND revision of this mouse - see comments. Normal software for setting. The backlight isn't bad either. 36 month warranty is great.
Cons
  • The presence of two revisions on sale (!) - I don’t write details - I’ll just say that different manufacturer codes + different pictures on the box. According to the first revisions (stupid drawing of the mouse on the boxes, in the second - the mouse "under x-ray" in the context) a lot of claims: Cheap Chinese switches - the presence of a double click after a fairly small amount of time Non-atable firmware version (search on the net - too lazy to write numbers) - the cursor jumps around the screen. Logitech accepted returns on them, but they are still on sale! For the second revision: Excellent switches (left-right click) - upgradable firmware - cured bug with cursor. For some reason, the price has grown from 2,140 ~ to 3,000+ (!) - and despite the fact that the dollar has risen in price by 2-3, not by 10-20. Build quality is not very high
