I have purchased SO many sunglasses lately seeking the 'perfect' lens for me. The full amber lens doesn't work well for me. The sunlight still seemed so bright (not really diffused), and the 'strong' amber lens prevented me from being able to see the dashboard stuff (which is white); I had to raise the sunglasses to see the dashboard! I really prefer a blue lens, and this pair's view is blue at the top, and fades down to a light amber at the bottom. So, while I'm in the car, the bright sunlight is well diffused by the blue, but I can see/read the dashboard stuff because the amber portion is not so strong. This is my favorite pair of sunglasses now, so I ordered 2. . . Times change, and I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to get a replacement pair down the road! They look really good, too, and are very comfortable.
