I've accumulated a lot of USB sticks over the years and other than tossing them on a desk or desk drawer I haven't found a good solution. This gets especially annoying when I NEED the drive for something and then of course I can't find it. While a metal case is probably overkill for what I do, it seemed like a great way to organize the collection of drives I have. The case itself is solidly built and setting up a combination lock isn't difficult. Personally, I wouldn't put too much faith in this lock to keep someone with even a shred of determination from getting a flathead screwdriver and opening it, but it should keep people from home or work from walking away with one of your spares . . The styrofoam cutout is actually just that: a styrofoam brick with lots of cutouts. It's not bonded to the body with any type of glue and can be easily swapped out if you want something more customized. The Brother P-Touch stickers fit the space between the cutouts fairly well and seem to stick to the foam. My complaints are mainly related to the price. It's very expensive for what you get. This case, for example, costs much less. You get basically the same size, with styrofoam bricks that you can cut any way you like and double-seal. (Not that I think these locks are any better, but I'm trying to turn apples into apples here) I'm also not at all a fan of the "TECH STORE ON" screenprint on the top of the case. I mean, sure, that probably signals the world that I'm buying stuff from cheap fake sellers, so stealing the content probably isn't worth it. But I'm not sure if this is an intended security feature.
