NO BAD LIGHT!
I don't think this light stick is that bad. It comes in a lovely carry case that fits everything neatly and tidily into the mesh pockets and straps. Inside, you get a glow stick, a charger, and a fairly large battery on one side. It's ready to use right out of the box and won't take you long to overcome the learning curve. My suggestions for the updated model would be more space between the mode, change/select and "volume" buttons. One of the main changes I'd like to see is the addition of Bluetooth.
