Review on SAMOFU Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair with 3D Lumbar Support, Adjustable Headrest, and Flip up Arms – Black by Tammy Chavez

Good finish and style but mesh seat is hard and lumbar support too low and extreme for me

Was looking for a new office chair with the following requirements: adjustable armrests, mesh fabric and lumbar support; The SAMOFU office chair had these properties. I liked the design of the chair and I think it's a decent build for the price. (I bought some higher quality wheels to replace the stock/fragile ones in the kit.) Assembly was fairly easy, with tools included, although the limited instructions and mismatched part numbers could easily confuse many people. My first impression: comfortably padded armrests; very durable mesh fabric; and a non-adjustable lumbar support that sat too low for me and stuck out twice as far as would be comfortable. In fact, the lumbar support made the position of my spine even worse than it would have been without any kind of support. It may work for others, but not for me. Because it's part of the plastic frame of the chair back itself, there's no way around a poor fit. I gave it a few weeks to see if it would break or if I could adjust to the extreme curvature of the back. Lumbar support, but other than the seat mesh being a bit loose, I personally can't adjust for the lumbar support. If the seller offered this exact chair WITHOUT lumbar "support", I would buy it. Unfortunately I have to go to the trouble of returning this otherwise intact office chair.
