Review on 🪡 Dritz 783 Bodkin: 6-inch Silver Ball Point Tool for Sewing Projects by Summer Hendricks

I want to clarify that these reviews seem to mention several different points; I'm considering Dritz 783 Bodkin, ballpoint pen, silver. The hole is smaller than I expected: about 3/8" wide and about 1/8" deep. It keeps 1/4 of the elasticity as shown in the picture. However, it is not suitable for a hooded tie that has a drawstring end. Since I bought it for this I was determined to get it working (by squeezing the end with pliers and pushing in) but I won't be using it again for this purpose as I bent the stem in the process. Go back to the big safety pin method or find something else.
