So close but still not quite what I want v2

I bought this for pool deck cleaning as a sprayer, brush and broom combo, for Use between high pressure cleaning. The concept seems to be exactly what I need, the product seems very solid and well made and the price is reasonable. I even like the bright yellow color. It works well as a brush for applying water and cleaning hard, rough surfaces such as concrete pool floors. Therefore 3 stars. Why not any more? Spring. Unfortunately, as a push broom brush that helps pick up debris (like sand, dirt, or small leaves) loosened by the brush and water and push it in a certain direction like a push broom, this doesn't work in my experience. well, in general. In this case, 70% of the debris appears to be moving backwards or sideways and 30% forwards, even when efforts are made to push the loose material forward. Finally, to push loose debris forward in a specific direction, I held the brush upright (vertical) with the brush head about 6 inches above the deck and reversed the direction of the brush so the nozzles spray forward while trying to brush them pick up and move sand, dirt or small leaves. In this vertical orientation, mainly as a sprayer, it was very effective :-) Another solution could be to use another broom or this one with the water turned off (which seems like a scam) to pick up the dirt collected by this product. Spray Nozzle Orientation. Reducing the brush angle to 6-12 inches above deck helps reduce counter spray significantly but is certainly not practical to use. Forward. Or maybe a reversible head design so the user can choose between the current orientation of the nozzles and an orientation that can be used to push dirt forward rather than throwing it around or pushing a lot of it back.

Pros
  • Duplex design offers multiple angles to deal with messes
Cons
  • There are new competitors
