Review on HandFan Portable Misting Fan: Large Water Tank, Rechargeable & Foldable for Travel & Outdoors – Green by Marcus Hussain

I initially gave this fan two stars. I'm updating this review and here's why. Unfortunately, when I received the original fan, it was broken and would not charge. This meant that once the battery died it would be useless. I decided to bypass Revain and contact the seller directly. I emailed them on Friday afternoon and they replied to me the following Tuesday. They apologized for the problem and said they would send me a replacement fan immediately and said I didn't have to worry about sending the faulty one. I received my new fan the following Monday and it works exactly as advertised. The fan is perfect for my needs, I just needed something that could sit on the patio table next to me and help on hot/sunny days and keep me cool after a run. Based on other reviews, here are my conclusions. Don't expect strong airflow or the fogging function to get you wet. The fan is small (it's meant to be hand-carried, after all), but the highest fan setting hits you pretty well from around 1-2 feet away. The demisting feature helps keep you cool, especially when you're sweating, but no handheld fan is designed for pouring water over you (that's what sprinklers are for). If you really want to feel the mist, you have to hold it close enough to feel it. At a distance of 1 foot or more, water will simply evaporate into the air, especially on hot days. If you want a really powerful fan that hits you from a few feet away, or if you want really powerful fog, consider a $20+ model. This fan performs excellently for the price. Also if you have a problem that can't be solved like I did and you don't get an answer in the Q&A section: contact the seller. They were very polite, quickly called me back and helped sort out the problem. For me, customer service comes first, which is why they get 5 stars!
