No instructions. With only 4 screws to remove and install, it was pretty obvious how to mount it. It probably took 3 or 4 times longer than it should have as it was difficult to align the screws without cross threads. Looks like Jeep used some kind of strong thread sealant in the holes when reassembling. This made it difficult to screw in new screws. I had to be very, very careful not to twist them. I also had to apply a bit of oil to the threads to help clean up any leftover threadlocker in the holes. There were no torque tightening instructions as there is no owner's manual so I tightened it up and stopped there. they feel very solid. These are nice handles conveniently located for getting in and out of the jeep. But I'd really prefer a manual with some tips on how to align the screws and how to put them back in place. The handles themselves are coated in very thick paint that should be durable. And they are solid, not hollow tubes. As long as the bolts last, they should last as long as the jeep. I would rate it higher if the grips didn't have the huge logo molded into the grips and if the kit came with a quick start guide.
