Review on Enhanced Sony SAL18250 Alpha DT 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 High Magnification Zoom Lens by Born Waheed

I've only taken a few hundred shots with this lens so far, but I'm quite impressed. Given the large area it covers, this is an excellent zoom lens. making it a very good "universal" lens. It's significantly better than the stock lens in its overlap area, focuses fairly quickly and offers a lot more zoom, but at focal lengths of around 18-21mm there's still noticeable barrel distortion, as well as some softness and light loss at the telephoto end... as expected. You can definitely beat this lens with the right smaller range or fixed focus lenses, but you pay MUCH more and have more to carry.
