Laptop in warm to hot weather But tonight, in 55 degree November weather, worked suddenly nothing. My Polemaster camera couldn't be recognized, my pointing camera was only recognized when I unplugged it and plugged it back in, my filter wheel was missing, as was my autofocus. I thought it was my USB 3.0 hub but eventually found that everything worked perfectly when I replaced that active cable with a 10ft USB 3.0 cable. What a disappointment! The active cable must be operated within a reasonable temperature range. Well if you live in Florida this will work for you. If you live where it can hit the 40s-50s this is not a good buy.
