Although I'm new to photography I've read enough articles stating that a strong and light tripod is essential for certain types of photography in order to to avoid blurred images. This tripod is perfect for that! It's small and compact, but strong when assembled. I live on the fifth floor and I shoot from the top of my house where the wind is constant and quite strong at times, but this tripod didn't move at all. There is a large hook on the underside of the center bar to hang a camera bag for added weight and stability, but the handle still raises and lowers the center bar with ease. Easy to set up and take with you. Very important.
