At first I thought the thing wouldn't stand a chance of going through a chair, but after about an hour of work and using a screwdriver and pliers to change a stubborn zipper and the help of my neighbor with steadier hands , I've done it now sit on it. I measured the back of the chair and it fits the specs but I don't know if I didn't see the specs of the seat or if it didn't exist at all but the base of my leather office chair it's undoubtedly a bit larger than average. If you are comfortable with seat covers and/or have better hands and a bit more patience, this may very well be for you. It's resilience will definitely be put to the test in the coming days but now I just wanted to think again to state that apart from the zip which didn't mean to be part of things it's arguably a satisfactory cover for the price after all .
