We have several personal devices that need charging almost every day. The problem is that most cars have one or two 12v sockets depending on the age of the car. With this charger I can charge up to three things at the same time (two Cs and one USB). We bought these primarily because the charging cables that came with our phones have a C on both ends. None of our vehicles have C-Charge ports, but most have USB ports. We were advised not to use the USB ports as they could damage the batteries in our new phones. I don't know if that's true or not but just in case we bought two of these 12 volt chargers. They seem to be working very well so far. The time will show.
