Good skates but it's worth noting they are shipped as separate parts (e.g. shoes, frames, wheels and bearings) . ). You have to put them together. Not a big deal since you have to remove the frame to bake the boots, but hopefully this review will make it clear that these aren't skates that you can unbox and go. The higher cuff fits better than my hockey skates. With COVID I ride more outdoors. The trails I ride aren't very smooth and flat, so I needed extra ankle support. Low cuffs on regular speed skates tend to rip my ankles. MPC wheels grip the road well and absorb a lot of vibration for a smooth ride. Big wheels roll over big sticks and other obstacles without sinking to the ground. Came with a pack of ABEC 7 bearings instead of ABEC 5 which was a nice upgrade.
