I went for a spin with these and some very good Taylormade balls. I switched between them to see if I felt a big difference in my game. To be honest I didn't and I had some amazing knock offs from both sides. I am new to golf (less than a year old) so balls are not yet a factor in my game. I had a few balls that were "bad" to hit. They felt good and I had no problems. One benefit is that you definitely don't have to worry about mistaking your ball for someone else's as I doubt many other people rock THIODOON. But yeah, they didn't improve my game much, they didn't change my life, they were ok. To be honest I wouldn't give them away as gifts, they just come in a regular golf ball box and the packaging isn't very pretty. Ideally, if you're going to gift balls, you'll want to gift something that you know will be fun to hit with something unique.
