Unsafe product. Please stay away from these bar stools if you want to avoid injury. These bar stools have a very fragile/lightweight base and are very unstable. My daughter fell twice in the first few days of use. The base is so light that when you bend down to pick up an object at arm's length, the base will rise off the ground. I've compared them to other bar stools at furniture stores nearby and most were 3-4 times heavier than this chair which gives an idea of how light they are. I would recommend everyone to try a bar stool at a furniture store or with friends to get an idea of what a good chair is. The base of it is poorly constructed and needs to be much larger in diameter and much heavier for safety reasons. Also, the seller does not offer returns, leaving you stuck with this defective item.
