Review on 30-Color Assorted Sewing Thread Kit for Sewing Machine & Hand Sewing - 250 Yards/spool Polyester Thread by Amanda Castillo

The thread on my Singer sewing machine keeps tearing, but not on other brands - whether straight stitch, zigzag or circle. As another reviewer mentioned, it's also VERY HARD to cut. The strands break easily. Finally, I grabbed a small amount of petroleum jelly to see if I could get through the needle (I also tried some new needles of different weights). Some of the colors are so striking I can't imagine what I would use them for (really fluorescent orange?) while I have 3 yellow coils. i will return this
