Difficult to find the kind of functionality this device offers. Draws power from the TV's USB port, so turns on when the TV turns on, audio comes from the TV's optical digital port, connects automatically to my headphones, low latency, good volume control with the buttons on the top Adapter. I have an issue which is why I gave it one star but it could be my Air Pods. When I travel a short distance (20 feet) I lose sound in the air modules. This doesn't usually appreciate the loss of a star, but it can take several attempts to turn the adapter on and off to restore the sound, sometimes still failing until the TV turns off and then back on. Based on my troubleshooting, I'm not losing the Bluetooth connection as disabling this adapter causes the Air Pods to produce a "disconnecting" beep. It may only be an issue with Airpods, but Apple is just saying they're made to work with Apple hardware, and Apple won't try to suggest how they can work better with any specific non-Apple device.
