I have installed about 3 of these units on Intel I7 mid tower computers that have been upgraded to "gaming" computers where Intel's cooling solution is not cooling the CPU holding enough forces it to throttle back. The temperature results showed that the CPU core temperature dropped from 160-165 degrees Fahrenheit during gaming to 120-125 degrees Fahrenheit with sustained full CPU load. When idling, the CPU temperature was around 83 degrees Fahrenheit. I've used cooling solutions that cost twice as much that weren't more efficient at cooling, and some were less efficient. In addition, the fan is compact in size to fit almost any mid-tower case and is quiet even under heavy loads. They also make the same cooling solution with TWO fans, just in case one isn't enough. Thanks to Cooler Master for an affordable cooling solution that really works.
