Poor engineering poses a threat to cat safety

The main problem with this cat tower is shown in the attached diagram. The upper tiers are attached to the lower tiers with a screw. The screw is not long enough and there is no screw to hold it in place. So the top half falls over when the cats try to get up. The upper levels aren't easy and fall from a reasonable height, so I'm concerned about the safety of anyone with multiple cats. In addition, there is a semi-circular detail designed to provide tactile stimulation for cats. It is attached using thin plastic parts that are inserted into a wooden base. One of these was broken upon arrival and the other upon assembly. Finally, there is a cylindrical tunnel also attached to the base. I had to make holes in the material to attach it. Basically, it's a poorly designed construct that is useless in the current iteration.
