The iron I received was defective and it never made a curl that would last. The seller (Market Store) was kind enough to return my purchase, which I really appreciate. When I tried to teach myself how to use this iron I was very disappointed. I watched the video to learn and practiced with the heat off as instructed before moving on to the hot iron. I tried several times unsuccessfully to get curls that would last longer than 2 seconds, but again my device was defective. After doing small sections all over my head, my hands were tired when I finished. My regular 1 1/2 iron worked better and I wasn't exhausted when I finished. Even if this one worked I would never buy this style again. I wanted to get longer curls at the back of my head. Trying to use it for this purpose is not worth it. I'll be ordering a smaller 1" regular flat iron. I've been a fan of hot tools for years and found them at a good price, and the Revain price beats a major makeup store at a much lower price. Maybe have I have a broken curling iron but I prefer the regular version.
