I bought this kit to try out the color changing polish and see how effective it is. I've notably tried Cat Eye Magnetic Gel Polish and other KRISNICE products before, so I was itching to add more colors to my collections. To my surprise, the color-changing polish works very well. You can apply heat by applying light pressure with your fingers and the color will change! You can also get faster color changing results by running your nails in water of different temperatures. I first tested all the colors on a set of full tips with a gloss top coat and a matte top coat. Both came out very well, but I think I prefer the special effects with a glossy top coat for crisp detail. One of the color changing gel polishes (from purple glitter to pink glitter) solidified purple when I tested it on full ends and it turned pink on my acrylic nails! I was so confused as to why the polish was curing a different color each time, but this didn't affect the color changing effect. I was just a little confused and it changed my original color scheme. Magnetic gel polishes work beautifully. I've found that using black or some other dark color as the base makes the magnetic effect look great. I used at least 2 coats of black base polish and magnetic polish, sometimes I used 3 coats of magnetic polish when doing a more complex design. Have fun with designs and ideas! Color sample stickers are included in this set so you can stick the sticker on the corresponding bottle to quickly find the right color.
