I came across these and was intrigued by the positive reviews. Right now, I can't go to the salon for medical reasons but wanted to keep up my manicure if possible. This kit is WONDERFUL. I have been bragging it up to my friends and will definitely purchase refills and more colors!Pros:+This kit has everything you could possibly need to do a dip manicure. I didn't have to purchase anything else or dig through my manicure box for extra supplies. The only thing I needed was a toothpick to line the cuticle and side pockets.+The instructions were easy to follow. Application took time but was very easy for this beginner with results as close to salon quality as could be expected for a first timer. I expect I'll get better with practice.+The powders have an extra cap that helps secure the powder when in transport. I find this reassuring to prevent spillage.Cons:-While the colors are beautiful, it is nearly impossible to figure out what color you're applying until it's already on your finger. The only clues are numbers on the top. I would strongly encourage the manufacturer to either put names or a color patch (maybe both?) on the jar so that you aren't surprised with the finished product. I was unpleasantly surprised by an unattractive color and either stuck with it or forced to remove it right away.-Along the lines of the colors, this is "con" isn't inherent to the product but the package that I received. The photos showed a color that I did not receive. I think the manufacturer substituted a color, which probably wouldn't have been bad if #1 they'd had chosen another color, but as it is they chose the one color that I was attracted to. #2 the color they substituted was some hideous bubble gum color that I would never wear.
