For a very long time I doubted the final between Audio-Technica AT2022 USB +, but in the end I chose this microphone, AT2022 is also a very cool device, but in my opinion it overestimates the high frequencies, in RØDE NT-USB the frequency response graph is more balanced, which gives us a natural voice timbre without a blockage in high or low and does not play pranks after 10khz like for example AT2022. What else I want to say about the microphone, it’s just excellent sound quality and a very cool package, it’s immediately clear that the specialists from RØDE understand that you need a 3 meter cable here, so that you can immediately very conveniently separate and connect the microphone, and not bother buying more and long cable, well, high-quality, and most importantly, a working pop filter complete with interesting fasteners, in general, the fasteners for this microphone are interesting, at first I wrote down in the minuses, but then I figured out that this is the opposite, a plus, you can arrange the microphone in different ways as you want. This microphone has a very sensitive capsule, so keep this in mind, do not overestimate the volume too much, the most optimal for me is 60-75% above 70 I don’t recommend setting it, because. clearly distinguishable microphone noises appear, in general, this microphone is quite noisy relative to other microphones (for example, the same AT2022), but this is easily compensated by filters, for example, I made an ideal setting of 60% volume for myself and +2dB track gain is simply gorgeous! The limit on the text of the review is coming to an end, so I will round off. All the disadvantages of the microphone are not too critical and do not really affect the choice when buying. I can confidently say that this is one of the best if not the best USB microphone on the market right now!
