This is a great meditation cushion. It is solid and yet gives little. Soft enough to be comfortable without sinking into it. I also like the color and design of this particular zafu; better than solid color if you are looking for something that looks good too. I use it over a meditation or yoga mat, which I also recommend buying. Without a mat, you can hurt your ankles on a hard floor.
