I bought these to wear around my upper arms when running after dark, and they are perfect for this. They are long enough to easily go around my arm, and they are slightly elastic, so they feel comfortable and stay snug. My wife drove past me while I was running with these on (one per arm), and when I got back home she said they were extremely reflective and bright. She was actually annoyed by their brightness, until she got close enough to realize that it was me.
